Percentage Nights

One of our favorite ways to fundraise is through percentage nights! We work with some of our favorite local restaurants to come together as a community. With each of your orders, a percentage is donated to Bulldawgs Against Hunger, so shoutout to Alumni Cookie Dough and Chipotle for taking part in the fight against food insecurity!

Alumni Cookie Dough ~ April 6 ~ ALL proceeds are being donated

Chipotle ~ April 20 ~ 33% of the proceeds are being donated ~ Just show the flyer that we will post on our Instagram @bulldawgsagainsthunger!

Push Days

Our first fundraising event of the month is “40 for 40,” a push day with a focus on the amount of meals our fundraising truly provides to Athens families. For every $1 that goes to the Food Bank, 4 meals can be provided! Simply put, $10 has the ability to provide 40 meals! For this fundraiser, we chose 40 as our goal number as 40 symbolizes the overall 40% rise in food insecurity during COVID-19. So, let’s get out there and see how many meals we can raise today friends!!

On April 22nd, our second fundraising event of the month is in celebration of Earth Day! Today, we are presenting our fundraiser in terms of “Growing our Tree.” For each dollar that is raised, 1 leaf is added to our tree. Again each dollar and each leaf represents 4 meals!! One of the biggest goals of Bulldawgs Against Hunger is to maintain a sustainable relationship with our community, and this sustainability applies to our everyday life and our world as well! Happy Earth Day :)

The Grand Finale: Our Mobile Pantry!!

This is what it's all about! We are wrapping up our fundraiser in the form of our very own sponsored mobile pantry at Clarke County High School on May 1. The fundraised money will go towards a food delivery truck, which will supply about 12,000 meals. That's enough to feed about 300 families! In addition, we will have a Summer Fun Station set up with school supplies for the kids.
